Paula Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University, and a Masters Degree in Library & Information Science from the University of South Florida.

Paula currently serves as the Library Director at South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary’s Steven R. Sylvester Memorial Library, and was instrumental in the college obtaining its accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education. Under Paula’s supervision the entire library of over 10,000 volumes has been updated and cataloged with the Follett-Destiny Library Catalog Services and an on-line data base. Our library collection can now be easily accessed from any computer with an Internet connection. She also holds State of Florida certifications in Education & Library.

Paula is the co-author of Secret Code Time: Building an Unbreakable Bond Between Parent and Child, with her daughter Sky McNeill. She has been a Seminar Lecturer for various organizations such as the S. Florida Home School Convention, South Florida Presbytery, and Moldova Christian School, and an adjunct professor for Moldova Seminary.

Paula’s entire family is dedicated to ministry and her husband, Dr. John Stevenson, serves as the Academic Dean at SFBC&TS. She is very creative and intelligent, and is a team player. She has volunteered her time in numerous educational facilities in South Florida, as well as a PTA President, and has touched the lives of many children. She has dedicated her life to education and not that just of the mind, but of the spirit and the Word of God as well. Paula taught 3rd and 4th grades in the Broward County School System for 13 years. Her specialty was drop-out prevention, where she taught academically-challenged students to succeed. She spent the last 5 years of her elementary career as the librarian.
