Dr. Gail Rizzo earned her Ed.D. in Education Leadership from Northern Kentucky University. Her
dissertation was on, Using Adventure Based Activities to Build Self-Esteem in Adolescents. She
has three Master’s degrees from Cincinnati Christian University in education and counseling.
Dr. Rizzo’s experience includes time working for Hospice as a child and family counselor,
working for a church developing programing for outreach and counseling and time in a
children’s hospital leading a group of school-based therapists.
Dr. Rizzo has extensive training with working with children, teens, adolescents and geriatrics as
well as working in communities that have a significant poverty demographic.
She has taught in the field of behavioral health for over 20 years.
