Dr. John Stevenson was born in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Theology from Florida Bible College (1977), a Master of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary (1995), and a Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary (2007).

Dr. Stevenson has taught at South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary since 2005 and currently serves as the academic dean.  He has also taught at the following schools:

  • Broward College
  • Miami International Seminary
  • Moldova Bible Seminary in Eastern Europe
  • Reformed Theological Seminary, Boca Campus
  • Trinity International institution: Florida Campus

Dr. Stevenson makes his class powerpoints and videos available for free on his website and these are regularly utilized by colleges and churches around the world.

Dr. Stevenson serves as an assistant pastor at St Andrews Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Hollywood, FL.  He is married to Paula and they have a married daughter and two grandchildren.  When he is not teaching or in his study, he enjoys reading, walking, and playing the guitar.
