OVERVIEW
The Doctor of Ministry degree offers advanced leadership training for men and women with the aim of equipping them for enhanced impact in ministry and service. In this program, students become part of an ecumenical community that engages in depth with vital issues pertaining to the life and role of the Church. Together, students interact with the scholarship of leading Christian academics and practitioners who are engaging theologically with a variety of issues.
WHY THIS DEGREE?
Graduates of our Doctor of Ministry degree will have a terminal doctorate credential that may provide opportunities to publish academic research and pursue college-level teaching, as well as serve in a senior ministry leadership role. Students who complete the ministry leadership area of study for the D.Min. degree will be especially effective in leadership and administration roles in Christian ministries and churches, as well as ministry trainers and teachers. These skills may also provide eligibility for university-level and seminary teaching.
